Ingredients
1dinner roll
1handfulcabbage
3slicescucumber
1/4carrot
2tbspmayonnaise
1tbspsugar(you can reduce)
1tbspketchup(to drizzle)
Instructions
Shred the cabbage and carrot. You can use a knife, but a vegetable slicer makes it much easier.
Slice the cucumber thinly (about 0.2mm).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, and 1 tbsp sugar. Mix well. You can reduce the sugar to your taste, but if you skip it entirely, the sandwich won’t have the classic Korean salad bread flavor.
Cut the dinner roll in half, like a hot dog bun.
Add the cabbage salad and cucumber slices inside the roll.
Drizzle ketchup on top. You can also add sweet mustard sauce for extra flavor, if you like.
